    The spacious 8′ x 9′ Shire Lodge Kids Wooden Playhouse (2.39m x 2.69m) features a veranda, loft and fairy-tale design, so could easily be called the ultimate wooden Wendy house.Made in the UK from premium 12mm shiplap cladding, on a 34mm frame, this children’s playhouse comes with a top-quality 12mm tongue and groove floor plus 12mm tongue and groove roof, ensuring outstanding strength and durability. The apex roof includes a log-cabin-style overhang and is fitted with a weatherproof felt cover to keep out the rain. Decorative bargeboards and 2 diamond-shaped finials round off an exceptionally attractive appearance.At the front of the playhouse is a veranda, which provides a useful, additional sheltered area and is enclosed with balustrades.The partially-glazed door and windows are made using traditional, skilled joinery. The former is fitted with a roller catch, safety hinge and daisy-design ring handle, so provides safe and easy access to the interior.The loft is reached by steps on the inside of the playhouse and enclosed with a balustrade to keep playtime safe. This first-floor room is positioned above the veranda so the height of the main area is not compromised.The 5 framed windows are split over both levels and allow an abundance of natural light to flood into the playhouse. Three of them are openers to aid ventilation. All of the glazing is made from shatterproof styrene, which is far tougher and safer than conventional glass. An air vent is located to the rear of the structure.This wooden garden playhouse fully complies with BS EN 71 (CE) safety standards. All of the wood is FSC®-certified, so only sourced from sustainable, well-managed forests. It is dip treated and supplied with an excellent 10-year anti-rot guarantee, as well as an additional 1-year parts guarantee. Both guarantees are dependent on following the manufacturer’s guidelines relating to assembly, usage and retreatment.Instructions and an installation kit are included for a straightforward 2-3 person assembly.Please note that the dip-treatment process means that this children’s playhouse is delivered in a honey-brown timber colour.
